The 12.64km section connects Botanical Garden in Noida to Kalkaji Mandir in South Delhi and vastly improve travel time providing relief to thousands of daily commuters.
According to the DMRC, ‘trains will be available at a frequency of 5 minutes and 14 seconds. Ten trains will be used for operations and two more trains — one each at Kalkaji Mandir and Botanical Garden — will be kept on standby.’
Rajeev a 2nd Year Amity University student said ‘This would really help a lot of students in Noida who travel from the violet line. Now we don’t have to visit around Rajiv Chowk and can directly visit Noida. Saving me 45 mins at least!’
